On the 18th of July every year, the world remembers him as a person and his legacy – encouraging people to use their voices and speak up on injustice matters. 

Nelson Mandela’s legacy continues to show that his determination and commitment will always be remembered – and the conversation for equality will never stop. His teachings have shaped many generations, from being taught to billions of children in all schools to using his speeches within any workplace environment. This has been a continuous growth by allowing the people to raise awareness upon those issues. 

Here are just a few things that Nelson Mandela represented throughout his years:

  • > During Mandela’s first years as president (1994) – He expressed his concerns for women’s safety. He called for immediate measures of equality and safety across all government systems in South Africa.

  • > Nelson Mandela said that education and any skill set is a weapon that can change the whole world. He made aimed that every child of every race, in South Africa, attend primary school – that too all children learnt together with their suitable age group.

  • > Mandela led by example of demonstrating to forgive his enemies. He acted respectfully to civilize a partnership to those who thought different. With the certain differences, it didn’t stop his act of kindness with everyone as he wanted peace for the nation. In later years, He managed to win the Nobel Peace Prize in 1993 – along with F.W de Klerk.

There are many other countless acts of freedom fighting that Nelson Mandela has achieved – in which his foundation continues to do so. Everyone is aware of Mandela’s thoughtful acts toward making a world a better place for everyone and the future. Nelson Mandela promoted a culture of peace to billions of people and which he continues to inspire them in this modern era.
