Brexit and Transparency

Prime Production Ltd - Brexit and Transparency

Not long after the referendum revealed the UK general public had chosen to leave the European Union, a number of leading Brexit campaigners resigned.

Fast forward two and a half years, the Conservative Party have gone on to lose the parliamentary majority, 22 individuals within the party, including senior MPs, ministers, aides and private secretaries, have resigned, and Theresa May has lost the vote of confidence. Furthermore, a number of large firms recently announced that they were moving their HQ abroad, seemingly to avoid Brexit disruption. This includes Dyson who are looking to move to Singapore, Sony who will move to the Netherlands, as well as BBC who are allegedly looking to relocate to Belgium.

Whilst Emmanuel Macron, the President of France, believes that the British people were sold a lie, discussions surrounding the UK Brexit deal continue to take place, with many still unsure of what will logistically happen at the end of March this year, when the UK will indefinitely leave the European Union.

Politicians are bound by what they say in public. With each political statement comes a political pressure to maintain that position and act on it.

Prime Production is at the forefront of Transparency. Collaborating with the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI), Transparency International and the Water Integrity Network (WIN), we have a wealth of experience in translating information on rules, plans, processes and actions.

For each project, we carefully match clients with the appropriate linguistic expertise to ensure that your message will be well received and understood by your target audience.
