COP28 in Dubai
COP28, the ‘Conference of the Parties’, has kicked off in Dubai with the aim of addressing climate change. The negotiating parties include governments that have signed the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, the Kyoto Protocol and/or the Paris Agreement. Along with world leaders and ministers, thousands of representatives from civil society, the private sector, international organizations and the media will also be attending.
Let’s hope this year’s conference brings us a step closer to a sustainable future.
