Prime Production is seeking a project manager to join its team in Slough, Berkshire.
The company provides written multilingual translations, conference interpreting (consecutive and simultaneous), transcription, and layout and design services for high profile national and international clients including the United Nations, NGOs and corporates.
The ideal candidate will be a graduate in translation or modern languages. Good English written and oral communication skills essential. Second language beneficial, but not essential.
For this role, Prime Production is seeking an individual who is hardworking, reliable, confident, outgoing and ambitious with a drive to succeed. The candidate MUST be able to make decisions autonomously. They must also possess sound IT skills in Office 365, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, Google Drive (sheets), Gantt Charts, Internet Research, and Social Media.
To meet the industry’s benchmarks of best quality and fast turnaround to output, the candidate will need to be a critical thinker, super organized, adaptable and focused on delivering polished end products to clients.
The project manager will effectively and efficiently:
> plan, coordinate and simultaneously manage concurrent and pipeline linguistic and design client projects
> systematically liaise with clients, linguists and designers on a daily basis
> maintain routine informative communications with colleagues, clients and vendors
> deliver superlative projects to client timelines
> apply and maintain follow-up and follow-through processes
> create pricing quotes utilizing company’s templates
> raise job numbers utilizing in-house system
> input accurate data entries to Google Drive sheets and documents
> develop client relationships (CRM)
> explore new business opportunities aligned to the industry
> edit and proofread texts in English for accuracy and precise interpretation of source texts
> share knowledge and demonstrate initiative to improve processes and technologies
